Knowledge Center Camp 09

It appears that there will be even further demand for our WP4086 Condition Monitoring System in the future, since Knowledge Center for Windmill Components has chosen to continue developing new methods for damage investigation. We anticipate that this will create an even greater demand for our innovative condition monitoring system.

Another project that was initiated at Knowledge Center Camp 2009 is Development of Methods for Design, Documentation and Verification of electrical components in wind turbines. This will also give Mita-Teknik the possibility to offer even more of our tested and proven products to help our customers by ensuring that all relevant data are accurately collected in the wind turbines.

Knowledge Center Camp 09
In order to initiate a dialogue between specialists from the Knowledge Center for Windmill Components and Danish companies within the wind industry, Knowledge Center Camp 2009 was organized. The purpose of the Camp was for the participants to discuss what testing and innovation projects might be suitable for the Knowledge Center to undertake in the future.

November 30 and December 1, Mita-Teknik attended the Knowledge Center Camp 2009 in Kolding, Denmark. The camp was organized by Knowledge Center for Windmill Components which is a partnership between DTU, Aalborg University, FORCE Technology, Technological Institute and DONG Energy. 31 Danish sub-suppliers within the wind industry were invited to the Knowledge Center Camp 09.

The Knowledge Center has continued working on the ideas developed and presented at the camp. So far they have chosen the following three projects:

  1. Development of methods for design, documentation and verification of electrical components in wind turbines.
  2. Development of methods for damage investigations that can gain broad and international recognition.
  3. Development of methods for design, documentation and verification of hydraulics systems in wind turbines.
